Program Objectives 
To equip students with the knowledge and skill with tools equipment and techniques used in horticulture
Knowledge and practical skills necessary for production, management and post harvest handling of horticultural crops
To enables students under take research and development activities in various aspects of horticulture
To develop managerial and entrepreneurship skill to start own horticulture business
To develop skill for planning ,designing , construction and management of public, residential, and institutional landscape
To organize and provide in-service and farmers training programs in horticulture
To equip students with necessary knowledge and skill of writing, reporting and communicating for scientific paper
Inspire students to have a positive attitude towards their profession
